2012 Soccer to the Maxx Jamboree Information


2012 Soccer to the Maxx Jamboree

This Jamboree is in honor of Maxxine Burns, a long time volunteer for youth soccer from the local area.

The Soccer to the Maxx Jamboree is open to U09-U10 Boys and Girls teams from District IV that are registered with Washington Youth Soccer.

Teams are guaranteed 3 games in the Jamboree.

This year Soccer to the Maxx will be scheduled to play on Saturday October 13th (Week 6 of the Rec Season)
There will be no regular NSYSA U09 or U10 League matches scheduled to play on this day.

The Host Clubs for the 2012 Soccer to the Maxx Jamboree are currently expected to be Tracyton Soccer Club (TSC) and Bainbridge Island FC (BIFC) as follows:

U09 B - BIFC - Battle Point
U09 G - BIFC - Battle Point

U10 B - BIFC - Battle Point
U10 G - TSC - Fairgrounds

2012 Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree Rules

  1. There will be no standings as this is a JAMBOREE. All games will be played per Washington Youth Soccer Rule 302. Exception: Games will be 40 minutes long.
  2. Have Fun!!!!
  3. Check in 1/2 hour before your first game.
  4. Maximum roster size per Washington Youth Soccer Rule 302.
  5. Coaches and Assistant Coaches must be Risk Management cleared
  6. Minimum of 3 games played in one day.
  7. Home team is responsible for changing jersey in a conflict.
  8. Home team chooses sidelines.
  9. Home team provides game ball.
  10. Referee decisions are Final!!!!
  11. Unlimited substitutions are allowed at any dead ball with the referees approval.
  12. Sportsmanship is a must!!!!
  13. Each team will receive their t-shirts and jamboree pins at the field. They may not be at the field at the time of your first game but please check in at the Field Marshalls tent to make sure you receive them before you leave the field for the day
  14. Again, above all else, HAVE FUN!!! Hope to see you all again next year.


2012 Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree - Guest Players

The Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree rules do allow for up to three (3) Guest Players per team. To have a Guest Player participate with your team, the following items must be properly completed and presented to the Field Marshal at the time the team checks in for the Jamboree:

  1. For each Guest Player, a Washington Youth Soccer Guest Player Form must be properly completed and signed by the Association Registrar.
  2. For each Guest Player whose participation would exceed team roster limits, the team will need to declare which players listed on the teams roster will not be playing in the Jamboree. Such a declaration is for the entire Jamboree.

Cost Details

Entry Fees for the 2012 Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree remain unchanged from the past and are as follows:
U09 Teams = $110.00
U10 Teams = $125.00

Please check with your clubs to see if there is any assistance from your club for the jamboree fee.

Entry Fees for all accepted teams will be billed to each applicable club following the Application Deadline.

Entry fees will cover the cost of Referees and Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree shirts for all participants.


Entry Details

2012 Soccer To The Maxx Jamboree Application Deadline is 09/23/2012.

Applications will be accepted on a 1st Come - 1st Served Basis commencing on August 12th. Team limits may be necessary due to possible field limitations which will dictate the maximum number of teams allowed per bracket.

Applications are to be submitted On-Line via the District IV Website. Applications will be accepted only from Team Staff Members (Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, etc.) via the Coach Segment on the website.

Please include in your application request the number of each particular Shirt Sizes for your team (i.e. # of Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, etc.). Also include size for team coach/s {2 Maximum for Coaches per team}.
